Sandpiper Supply's Grocontinental with Mobile Computing Solution

Sandpiper is delighted to announce it has been selected for the supply of a new mobile computing solution to Grocontinental for its warehouse operations.  

Grocontinental, established in the 1930's has grown from a small family concern into one of the main distribution and storage businesses in the UK and into mainland Europe, operating its  92,000 pallet ambient / chilled & frozen storage facilities in Shropshire 24 hours a day, seven days a week supplying  in the main to the food  industry.

In an effort to improve its competitive advantage, Grocontinental has appointed Sandpiper to supply and implement all hardware elements of the real time AutoID solution including the wireless infrastructure, hand held mobile computers, voice driven devices and mobile printers.
